The 2021 Wine to Asia Shenzhen International Wine & Spirits Fair has been given a new launch date.

Organizers on Wednesday announced that the trade fair will now happen on 2-4 December, still at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Hall 12.

The event, which was supposed to be held on 12-14 August, was canceled following an emergency notice of a Covid-19 outbreak in Shenzhen.

This is the third date given for the global wine and spirits fair, which was initially scheduled for an 8-10 June run.

The event’s organizers insisted that the safety of partners, exhibitors, and visitors is their topmost priority.

Wine to Asia is expecting nearly 500 exhibitors from over 20 countries and production areas, including DOCa Rioja, Wines of Chile and Wines of South Africa.

This year’s event has also confirmed its largest attendance of Italian wineries led by the Italian Trade Agency. About 170 wineries from 16 regions in Italy are set to join the fair.

The event will launch its newest Master Lab series on Marselan and 20 more masterclasses, such as the first masterclass about wines from San Marino, the smallest republic in the world.
