2021 Wine To Asia Fair in Shenzhen Postponed Anew
The 2021 Wine to Asia Shenzhen International Wine & Spirits Fair on August 12-14 will not push through due to an ongoing Covid-19 outbreak.
The announcement followed the posting of an emergency notice by Shenzhen (Bao ‘an District) Center for Disease and Control Prevention about the disease outbreak from Nanjing that has spread across provinces.
“Details of the new dates and event agenda will be announced as soon as confirmed,” the trade event’s organizers said in a statement on Monday.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the postponement. The safety and health of our partners, exhibitors, and visitors is always our priority,” they said.
Previously, the Wine to Asia fair got postponed to August after a similar outbreak occurred in the city, making it impossible to proceed with the June 8-10 run.
“Wine to Asia team is in close communication and coordination with relevant departments and all partners involved and will strive to create the best environment for exhibiting and visiting, to build the efficient platform and network for global exhibitors and professional visitors to connect,” the organizers said.
