Global wine and spirits trade fair ProWine Shanghai 2021 is seeing “high” space demand from both local and international exhibitors ahead of its launch on November 9-11 at Shanghai New International Expo Center.
In a press statement, the trade show reports overall “positive” booth registrations with confirmations from Spanish exhibitors the “most positive.”
State-led ICEX Espana Exportacion e Inversiones (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) is coming to the trade fair, along with Promotora d’Exportacions Catalanes or Prodeca, which pavilion “will reach the largest ever,” the organizers said.
Other large and prestigious overseas organizations have also confirmed attendance, including Business France, Wines of Portugal, Japan Sake And Shochu Makers Association, Les Grands Chais de France, Henkell Freixenet and International Wine & Spirits.
Local wine producers like GREATWALL WINE and Up Chinese Wine are also backing the event.
Moreover, ProWine Shanghai has engaged top-level wine education institutions in China, such as Grapea & Co. and Dragon Phoenix Wine Consulting, to deliver courses. It will also bring wine education during its promotion tour covering over 50 cities before the trade show.
Last year’s ProWine Shanghai event drew more than 22,000 visitors, increasing 9.2% from its previous edition. It was also attended by 400 wine producers and distributors from 17 countries and regions.
ProWine Shanghai is organized by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., a subsidiary of German trade organizer Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.
